Keren Yeala-Golan, lives and works in Israel. A video, photography, and performance artist, her work deals with gender, femininity, and rituals in relation to place and site. She uses her body in the video work and they are a documentation of a performance of different deconstruction and reconstruction.
She received her MFA in 2004 from the School of Visual Arts in New York and she has had solo exhibitions at the Hacheder Gallery, the Artist House Tel Aviv, and the Janco Dada Museum, Ein- Hod. She also participated in group exhibitions in Israel and abroad such as KW Berlin, Manc Museum, and The Venice Biennial.
